Privacy Policy

ToaTechnology Co., Ltd. (the “Company”) establishes this Privacy Policy as follows regarding the handling of users’ personal information in connection with the websites, applications, products, software development and operations, AI adoption support, and other services provided by the Company (collectively, the “Services”).

1. Information We Collect

In providing the Services, the Company may collect the following information:

  • Details of inquiries, consultations, employment applications, media requests, and similar communications
  • Technical information such as use of the Services, access date and time, device information, browser information, cookies, and IP address
  • Information necessary for contracts, transactions, and business communications with the Company
  • Other information voluntarily provided to the Company by users

For the handling of information in applications provided by the Company, Section 7 takes precedence.

2. Purposes of Use

The Company uses collected information for the following purposes:

  • Responding to inquiries, consultations, applications, media requests, and similar communications
  • Providing, operating, maintaining, and improving the Services
  • Sending guidance, communications, and important notices regarding the Services
  • Entering into and performing contracts, billing, payment, and other transaction management
  • Recruitment screening, contacting applicants, and improving recruitment activities
  • Investigating and responding to unauthorized use, failures, and security issues
  • Analyzing use, improving quality, and planning new services

The Company may outsource operations to external service providers to the extent necessary for operation of the Services, inquiry management, access analytics, infrastructure operation, email delivery, and similar activities. In such cases, the Company appropriately supervises the contractors.

5. Provision to Third Parties in Foreign Countries

The Company may use services operated by providers located in foreign countries, including cloud infrastructure, access analytics, and email delivery, for the operation and analysis of the Services. Personal information may consequently be handled in those countries. In such cases, the Company takes appropriate measures in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, taking into account the relevant country’s personal information protection system and the contractor’s safeguards.

6. Cookies and Access Analytics

The Company’s website may use cookies and similar technologies to improve convenience, understand usage, and improve services.

The Company may also use access analytics tools such as Google Analytics. These tools may collect information about use through cookies and similar technologies, but this is not intended to identify individuals directly. Data handled by Google Analytics is governed by Google’s policies, and users may stop collection through the opt-out method provided by Google.

Users may disable cookies in their browser settings. Some features may not function properly as a result.

7. Handling of Information in Applications

Unless otherwise stated in an application’s description or within the application, applications provided by the Company do not collect information about users, including usage or analytics data. In applications that have no network communication capability, data such as images, videos, and text is not transmitted externally.

For example, in applications that provide screenshots, screen recording, image editing, OCR, background removal, or similar functions on the device, the images, videos, and text being processed remain on the user’s device. Save locations, history retention, deletion methods, and similar matters follow the settings or help information for each application.

8. Security Measures

The Company takes necessary and appropriate security measures to prevent leakage, loss, damage, unauthorized access, and similar incidents involving collected personal information. For details of the security measures in place, contact the inquiry desk at the end of this Policy. The Company will respond appropriately in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

9. Disclosure, Correction, Suspension of Use, and Similar Requests

Users who wish to request disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, suspension of provision to third parties, or similar action concerning their personal information should contact the inquiry desk at the end of this Policy. After verifying the requester’s identity, the Company will respond appropriately in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. The Company may provide prescribed procedures for such requests and may charge a fee to the extent permitted by law.

10. Retention Period

The Company retains personal information to the extent necessary to fulfill its purposes of use. Personal information that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymized by an appropriate method, except where retention is required by law or for business purposes.

11. Information of Minors

A minor who uses the Services and provides personal information must do so with the consent of a person with parental authority or another legal representative.

12. Changes to the Privacy Policy

The Company may change this Policy as necessary. If a material change is made, the Company will provide notice on its website or through the Services.
